Ruger American Gen II

The Ruger American Gen II in .204 Ruger features a 20 inch medium-contour cold hammer-forged barrel with deep spiral flutes, a factory-installed radial-port muzzle brake, and a Gun Metal Gray Cerakote finish on the barrel, brake, receiver, and bolt handle. It is fitted with a Gray Splatter Gen II stock and a factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base. The Power Bedding system locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel.

The Gray Splatter stock uses a soft rubber recoil pad with a large heel radius for easy shouldering and progressive collapse to reduce felt recoil. Removing the installed spacer adjusts length of pull from 13.75 inches to 12 inches. The installed low comb can be removed for use with low-mounted sights. The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger provides a crisp release adjustable from 3 to 5 pounds. A one-piece stainless steel three-lug bolt with 70 degree throw and oversized handle, plus a three-position tang safety, complete the action. One 10-round AI-style magazine and steel sling swivel studs are included.

This bolt-action rifle is well suited for varmint and predator hunting. The .204 Ruger chambering, 1:12 right-hand twist, spiral-fluted barrel, and 10+1 capacity deliver a lightweight, accurate platform for field use.
